It may have been acceptable to use gay as an insult a few years ago but not it's definitely off the cards. I'm surprised none of my gay friends have pointed this out. What's more worrying is that the so called alpha male characteristically feels it's wrong to stray from a certain view of women and how they can/should be viewed and attacks anyone who does.
